The Old West created the stock horse, demanding a tough, enduring animal that could go for miles and herd the vast numbers of cattle in a bygone era. Not only was an athletic horse required, but one that could be completely trained in carrying out the everyday tasks of ranch life.

The TOP 5 Riders from each of the Boxing Classes held Saturday July 26 will be invited back for a COW WORK ONLY Shoot Out to win a Gift Certificate for a custom pair of show chaps!
Eligible ARCHA Classes: Non Pro Boxing, Limited Non Pro Boxing, Youth Boxing 13 & Under, Youth Boxing 18 & Under, Ranch Hand Boxing, Buckaroo Boxing
*in the event of cross entries, a rider may only qualify to the shoot out once.

Register with your entries for a Steak Dinner Event after the conclusion of the Chaps Shoot Out. Tickets are $55 + GST each and include a fantastic dinner put on by Silver Slate Steak House. If you would like to attend, and not showing, please email your Dinner Request to entries@cowhorse.ca by Friday July 25 @ 6 pm.
